Many people who have visited Norris Lake have fallen in love with the views, the clear refreshing water, the mountains, the serenity, the sunsets. They often wonder where we are in the season, what is going on around the lake of ir anything new is happening. So I thought I'd start a blog just to write down some random thoughts about living on Norris Lake. My LongSufferingHusbandBill and I live on the eastern side of the lake not far from Helms Ferry - one of the last remaining ferries in TN. Ferry is sort of a romantic term. What we have here is a rusted old barge and a tugboat. But it does get you across the lake and is really the only way to avoid driving all the way around the lake - which is really quite a drive!
