Bald Eagle in yard
Looked out the window this morning to see one of the Bald Eagles perched in the tree in the back yard. He (she) looked a little damp. Don't reallye know how many of them there are. There is a large nest in the Chuck Swan Wildlife Management Area across from the Blue Springs boat dock on Norris Lake and we saw at least one baby there last year. But the nest has been there for several years so I don't know how many there have been all together. And I'm sure that there are other nests as well.
Also noticed that the drab, brown/gray goldfinches are suddenly bright yellow. Must have happened overnight - didn't see it coming. And the forsythia are blooming.
